PlainID is honored to be a finalist for the prestigious Cyber Defense Black Unicorn Awards. As a Black Unicorn finalist, PlainID was simultaneously awarded the title of Top InfoSec Innovator, exemplifying our commitment to future growth and innovation in the identity-security sector.
The Black Unicorn Awards is a celebration hosted by Cyber Defense Magazine that recognizes the most innovative and valuable cyber defense companies worldwide. The term ‘Black Unicorn’ signifies a cybersecurity company estimated to reach a $1 billion-dollar market value within the next 1-3 fiscal years. Finalists are also declared a Top InfoSec Innovator. Cyber Defense Magazine judges looked at thousands of infosec companies seeking the most innovative solutions with the most significant potential to stop cyber incidents. Hence, it is such a privilege for PlainID to be named a Black Unicorn finalist and a Top InfoSec Innovator simultaneously.
Up against stiff competition, PlainID was one of only 19 companies recognized as finalists. The final decision was determined by which companies demonstrated a flawless business model taking innovation, dedication, and passion for cultivating the right cybersecurity solution to execute and achieve the prestigious ‘Unicorn status harmoniously.’
The final decision to name PlainID a Black Unicorn finalist and Top InfoSec Innovator was put into the hands of information security investors and professionals who voted based on their independent review of company materials, including data sheets, white papers, product literature, and other market variables.
Gal Helemski, CTO and co-founder of PlainID, adds: “Having the ability to manage authorization using a policy-based access control approach is fiercely emerging as a critical part of an enterprise’s data security strategy. As previously mentioned, we are honored to be recognized as a valuable contributor to the cyber defense industry and hope this honor will extend this prestige further afield.”
